Watson Morgan Jr.
Senior Pastor
Pastor Morgan was born into a loving Christian home and accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of twelve. He felt Gods call to ministry two years later at the age of fourteen. In formal preparation for ministry he has earned a Bachelor of Christian Theology Degree and Master of Arts in Biblical Studies. He met his wife Lydia while serving as Program Director at Rapidan Baptist Camp and they married in 1999. God has blessed their home with five wonderful children Jeremiah, Luke, Josalyn, Joel, and Sadie. He served as an Assistant Pastor in two different churches for over 13 years and was the Senior Pastor of his home church for five and a half years. Eventually God led him to become the Pastor of Temple Baptist Church. He and his family thouroughly enjoy ministering among the wonderful people of this church. His life verse is Romans 12:1-2, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind , that ye may prove what is that good, and accepteable, and perfect will of God." We are excited about what God has done and look forward to what He is going to do in years to come.
